At GSC, we are passionate about helping to birth an inspired, morally educated and socially responsible generation of enlightened people.
Our vision is to achieve a world that is economically, politically and socially stable and prosperous, rich in moral ideals, transparency, truth and justice through the early exposure of coming generations and the re-orientation of the present ones to the core values that govern the reign of propriety.
Our mission is to develop an inspired, educated and socially responsible generation of people who will be the foundation of an equitable and progressive world.
GSC AT A GLANCE
At the Generation For Societal Change, we firmly believe that the solution to the moral, political and economic challenges we face as a nation and as one whole society of mankind are deeply rooted in the values we hold and believe in as individuals and as a society of humanity.
We understand that Values shape a man and his outlook towards life and to other beings such as him. Therefore, we see these moral, economic and political challenges as the fruits of trees planted, as bad seeds, generations ago.
Hence, we at GSC, being an action-oriented and purpose driven people, have ceased to complain and to continue to play the “blame game” being played by everyone else. We have decided to stop to merely discuss these challenges. Instead, we have created and triggered a sustainable system that implants the right seeds – good societal values – in the fertile minds of the coming generations of world leaders and citizens in order to secure the future.
These seeds are the values we teach. They are the bane of our gospel. The crux of our message. Some of these values are Integrity, Hard-Work, Discipline and so on – Values that, when cultivated properly, will yield great results both now and in the future.
We go to schools, youth gatherings and corporate organisations to enlighten people on the benefits (both present and future) of holding and living by the right societal values.
GOALS
Towards realising our Vision, our Mission above drives us to do the following:
- Enlighten the youths on the good moral values needed for positive societal growth and to influence them to inculcate these values.
- Influence the youths to promote peace and shun violence in the society.
- Educate the youths on what their individual social responsibilities are to their immediate society and the world at large (for instance – maintenance of public facilities/infrastructures).
- Inspire the youths to prepare and position themselves for future leadership roles and responsibilities in the society.
- Enlighten the youths on the importance of honesty during examinations and to influence them to shun examination mal-practice and to pay serious attention to their learning processes (formal or informal) in order to lay strong foundations for their future and the growth of the society.
- Encourage the Acquisition of Diverse Skills, Self-Employment and Economic Independence among the youths.
- Encourage Professionalism and a Global Outlook/Attitude towards Societal Improvement and Development among the youths.

As a result of our Vision and Mission, we, at the Generation For Societal Change, believe in the following values and hold ourselves as individuals and our activities as an organisation to them:
- Sacrifice: We believe that every good thing is birthed and established through the Sacrifices of people who were willing and futuristic enough to push through obstacles till they achieved the results that they desired. As a result, at GSC, we are ever willing to release our skills, talents, resources, energy and time to see that our Vision of a prosperous, economically, socially and politically stable world comes to excellent fruition.
- Team Work: We know that nothing good and lasting is really achieved by the efforts of a lone person. Therefore, at the Generation For Societal Change, we work/walk in Teams, Units and Groups, harnessing our skills, talents, resources, energy and time to ensure that our joint goals are achieved.
- Leadership By Example: At GSC, we are aware that the best way to influence a change of orientation, beliefs and actions is by walking first in the path we are trying to influence people to walk in. Because of this, we are a Society of People who lead not just by the right words, but also by the right actions. We live by all the right values we advocate and we consciously make our lifestyles an open manual on right, humanity-oriented living.
